Heritage Creek trades for $54.3 million
  CB Richard Ellis Global Investors acquired the Heritage Creek apartments in a record-setting $54.3 million transaction.
Westfield buys tw telecom building for $37.73m   Denver-based Westfield Co. took a run at tw telecom’s corporate headquarters in Lone Tree and came out in first place at a price of $37.75 million.
  An entity created by Westfield bought the Class A building, also known as ParkRidge One, from LBA Realty at a price per square foot of $226.44.

Alexan Broadway sells for $82m  GID purchased the former Alexan Broadway Station community in December in the highest-priced multifamily sale to close in Denver in 2011.
  The privately held and fully integrated real estate organization paid $82 million, or $195,704 per unit, for the 419-unit community, according to public records.

Arista Uptown provides urban living in transit-oriented locale   The first new residential development at Arista in two years is under way with a 272-unit urban-style apartment community, Arista Uptown.
  Smith|Jones Partners LLC, a Denver-based real estate firm specializing in multifamily urban infill and transit-oriented development development, expects to deliver the first units in late summer.

New boutique distillery raises spirits in Basalt business park   A boutique distillery is making big news in the town of Basalt.
  Woody Creek Distillers will make vodka, whiskey, bourbon and gin using Colorado-grown potatoes and grains. It will be located in the former Mountain Homefitters building at 60 Sunset Drive in MidValley Business Park.

Camelback Pointe $30.66m apartment sale sets record   A Washington-based real estate investment and management company acquired the Camelback Pointe apartments in the highest-priced apartment sale to close in Colorado Springs since July 2008.
  Weidner Investments paid $30.66 million for the 258-unit community at 3620 Rialto Heights, just west of Interstate 25.
